After years of working with parents affected by ADHD, I began writing this book to address the gap between traditional parenting advice and the realities of neurodivergent family life. Parents with ADHD often carry more emotional weight, not because they are weaker, but because their challenges are misunderstood. Providing effective ADHD support and helping parents understand their own ADHD is one of the most powerful ways to support their families.
The book examines why conventional parenting advice often falls short for neurodivergent parenting and offers evidence-based parenting strategies that are realistic, caring, and sustainable in everyday life. Drawing on psychological research, clinical insights, and real family stories, it focuses on reducing shame, burnout, and isolation while strengthening parent–child relationships.
